Two meters run server side and both are paid in cash monthly. Bandwidth is metered per GB at 10¢ and up. It is the resource we would otherwise have to buy, so it carries the higher rate. Compute is metered per hour your machine is lent out for a browser render, at 3¢ and up. Compute is deliberately a fraction of bandwidth: it stands in for a cheap server hour, not for a gigabyte. Clean, fast, always-on connections earn the top of both rates.

The top of that table is a bandwidth number, and it is worth being blunt about the arithmetic: $1,500 a month means serving roughly 7.5 TB at the top 20¢ rate, across several devices on a fast line. Bandwidth is the lane that gets you there; compute is a steady top-up on the machines you leave running anyway, not a route to a number like that.
Estimates, not a guarantee. Both meters run server side, are credited to your account, and are paid out in cash every month: bandwidth per GB served, compute per hour your machine is lent out. Compute is metered as machine-active time, so overlapping browser sessions count once. Your per-GB rate is agreed per peer and your compute rate follows it as a fixed fraction.

Your private sites never touch the pool.
On setup, the agent reads your browser history on your device only to find the sites you use most, like your bank, email, and socials, and automatically adds them to your firewall so your bandwidth is never used to reach them.
- Read locally, never uploaded. Your history never leaves your machine. We read a read-only copy and keep only the domains.
- You stay in control. Every site has a toggle, so you can allow any you’re comfortable serving, and your choice sticks.
- Stays current. It re-syncs daily, so newly busy sites are protected automatically.
